Ok So in Spetember I'm going to have to start thinking about what I should do for my major for my degree. I've (almost) complete freedom when it comes to what I choose to do. Now I won't be actually implementing it until January of next year but because I'm so flipping terrible at doing sketchbook work I'm going to make a start this coming summer.

So my ideas of projects to far:

1. The classic self promotional package.
2. A children's book (and advertisment package), probably about imaginary monsters/friends.
3. A (fictitious) record company branding, ie, hello fun with many album covers.
4. A graphic novel.

Basically anything that requires me to make a book because that almost gives me a concrete higher mark, they love that shit.

Any feedback or ideas is HIGHLY welcomed.

Magnumface.

I've been listening to a band that's about to melt every pair of ears in england, i'm actually worried because nothing seems to satisfy my metal cravings anymore, I need heavier and heavier music, oh well.

Nothing has beaten a band that sounds like 1000 pigs being burned alive lol.

So I'm at my girl's place today but she went to meet her cousin  because they're setting up their own clothing shop, so im left at her place on my own, lol.

I just finished my tee shirt design that im printing on thursday.
I cant wait to get it done.

It took ages, (apart from the fact that im a major perfectionist when it comes to vector, but the lines have to be exactly matching for colour separation) blah.

Here you go.

well my resit of my second year has taken a turn for the best

my course leader [evil] alison has not pulled her finger out and so it's been left up to my printmaking lecturer [nice] alison so sort out my modules.

she's decided that because next year the module i NEED to take runs on the same day as the module [evil] alison failed me on in order to keep me back a year [wench].  so [nice] alison is allowing me to do absolutely anything i want now, as long as they use the same print mediums as the module guide so when it comes to next sem and [evil] alison doesnt allow me to go to print because of her stupid class, i already have the work marked.

HA!

eat that.
anyway so here's my design for my silk screen module that ill be marked on in like 8 months time, lol.
going to vector it up and put it on a few tee shirts, [yummy]
i just drank a can of relentless ... shawiiiing!

I think I've become like one of the others

There was a frail syrup dripping off
His lap danced lapel, punctuated by her
Decrepit prowl she washed down the hatching
Gizzard soft as a mane of needles
His orifice icicles hemorrhaged
By combing her torso to a pile
Perspired the trophy shelves made room for his collapse
She was a mink hand job in sarcophagus heels

Bring me to my knees
Read the sharpened lines
All my arms,
Bled me blind
Faucet leaks in shadows
Spilling from morgue lancet
Caressed your fontanelle
I've sworn to kill every last one
Every last one
Panic in the shakes of the wounded
Panic in the worms
Onto the floor
And out of your mouth
Out of your eyelids

No there's no light, in the darkest
Of your furthest reaches
No there's no light, in the darkest
Of your furthest reaches

Ok so I just finished my shift, it was absolutely dead for a saturday night, which was purely because of the Rugby World Cup.
We don't show matches because it tends to bring in the wrong kind of people, so it deas mean we miss out on a lot of business, oh well its not my place to run the bar, lol.  I just pull pints.

So I'm relaxing outside in my garage, having a few smokes because I need that nicotene fix after a shift in a no smoking bar.  Bottle of Stella next to me, shame its not ice cold.  Remeber to put them in the fridge next time, lol.

I've been listening to a couple of new bands lately, there's The Dear Hunter, which are an amazing band fromed by the ex vocalist of The Receiving End Of Sirens, they're very prog, slight emo influence, but quite Mars Volta too, amazing, check them out people, (not heavy at all by the way...

Then there's the side project of UnderOATH's drummer/vocalist, The Almost, which are a little more rock orientated, but melodic too, really good fresh look on the genre, check them out too my minions ...

So tomorrow I'm in the re-INK office from 10 til 6, we've a few potential websites and a corporate ID project to do in the next few months which will bring in a 'few' £'s profit.  I'm so totally excited.  Hehe.

Then I get to go to my girl's place after work, which will be pretty good, I haven't really seen her today, I know it sounds mushy but I need my daily fix of the girl, hehe.  Can't wait.

Peace

Ok so my mind is about to explode

we're creating a tee shirt company called Zombie Ravage Mouthwash in order to detirmine exaclt yhow many ours (obviously give or take) it takes to create a corporate ID project in our working environment.

For tee sirt designs I came up with the concept of having spliced animals.
Looks pretty funky on a t, but seriously drawing up these images is driving me nuts, the names are MENTAL.

Spine-Backed Sloth Frog
Purple-Chested Horse Lizard
Saber-Beaked Parrot Rat
Greater-Spotted Horned Penguin Shark
Pigeon-Eating Night Slug

...
KABOOM!

Going to see Daywatch later with my girl, so even more mind fucking to come

YAY

Ah harro,

So there's been new things a happenin'

my lec decided to keep me back one extra year in uni,
nothing I can do about that, but it does gove me a chance
to work n re-INK more.

Plus it gives me more time with my gorgeous lady.
We're doing really good, its only been little over
7 months since we started going out, but it seems
like much longer, in a good way though :D

I'm so damn stressed out with setting this bastard
business up.  Yeah its respectable and i'm technically
an entrepreneur ...which feels great, but my word its hard.

Which is why I'm totally thankfull to have my girl,
last week I felt really sick cause I was worrying about
all the hours of work ive to do in order to make re-INK
and uni work, then i began to black out through stress i think
but i [somehow] managed to stay conscious.

luckily Lucy was around to take care of me.
keeping me sane baby, I love you.

Anyway, we went to see Run, Fatboy, Run on wednesday,
Its so damn funny, but its a feelgood film, and its pretty good
considering that David Schwimmer (Ross in friends) directed it.

Tommorow we're spending some much needed down time
together then we're heading to Rob's flat for Becki's 23rd birthday,
which is going to rock.

So many a drink in before pulling probably another 12 hour shift
at re-INK. Yay.

Oh and my Mum and Dad have found a new condo to live in
nice one, so im gonna be by the pool when im over at christmas.
Whoot.

P.s. Congrats to my girl for passing a really difficult degree,
mpwa, lve you baby.

Ok so im majorly stoked at the moment

We have our office, it has no desks or any furniture for that matter, we're getting it all tomorrow and sunday, but yesterday we painted it white because it was rather dull, the previous owner mustn't have had any taste.

The walls were rough as hell so we had to sand them all down by hand before painting, but it was a really fun day, which was then destroyed by having to look over Tax returns, NICs tax, income tax, student loan repayments, directorial responsibilities (namely paying more tax) and so on.  BLAH.  But here's some photos.

I'll post more next week once we have more of an actual 'environment'.

WHOO im so excited.

On another note Steve is leaving for Denmark tomorrow to become an English teacher, good money apparently and all the Danish bacon he could eat (yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy yummy yum)... british joke.  So i'm off to Baroque tonight to have a few drinks with people to see him off, even though I don't actually have any money that I can spare.  This is quite important.

Other things to catch up on, pretty much going well.  Apart from the fact that on my birthday last week I was kicked in by two guys and whilst I was unconscious they stamped on my head repeatedly.  Which, as you can imagine gave me a headache for a little while.  Lol.  Arseholes.  Lucy looked after me for days, I must have been a rioght pain in the arse, concussion is not one of my favourite past-times and bless my lovely girl, she put up with me.  Another yay.

Anyway.

How nice!

Ah Harro!!

Ok so I've just spent a little time doing my layout, it was well annoying and I know that the blue may be a little garish at first but I wanted to play about with mad colour, if you consider that all I ever do is use emo (ish), I think this is a healthy change.

What do you reckon?

Well so what have I been up to?  Not much, just been working on re-INK more and more, working in the bar just to get some spare cash, (setting up a business means that you have NO wages)!!  We are offically set up now!  We have registered our name, registered at a limited (liability) company, AND got our office space, yes thats right, we have out office.  I probably mentioned that in my last entry, but who cares.

WHOOOOO.

So between those two jobs, and finishing up university work, i barely have any time left, so tomorrow I'm going to see a movie with my girl.
Even though by the time I am 30, I will probably have no hair because of the stress of setting up a company, it doesn't matter because how many people can say they have done that before they turn 22?  Yeah I might seem big headed but I'm proud of the hard work i've put in with Dan and Zsolti on this.

So for the moment I am just going to chill out and listen to some 30 seconds to mars.  They kick so much ass.

Oh quote of the day, I heard this from Owld John, who is a regular in the bar
"What do you mean I'm a binge drinker?  I've never had a pint of binge in my life!"

Lol, it totally tickled me.
To all the Singaporean's who read this (and Jerry, lol), in England it is classed as binge drinking of you drink mroe than 3 units of alcohol a day, that's about 2.5 pints.
...so almost the entire country should be dead by those limits.

Fuckin' government!

Im outta here for the time being then, relax time.

Good evening to everyone,

I say good evening because it is 2.14 am, and It took an absolutely ravagingly long time to delete all of my old crappy entries, imagine if I had gotten off my fine arse (lucy says, hehe) and posted more entries than I had, oh my word, twould have been a while longer.

So I'm starting a new blog.

Hold on cause the look of it will change so bear in mind that it's going to look like shite until I get some good designs on the go.

How is everything I hear you ask?

Everything is awesome.

It's going really well with Lucy, I love her so much and I've never been in a better relationship!
We spend so much time together, but I'm never getting sick of it, which, I think you will agree, is very very good, yes sir!  We've been going out for 5 and a bit months, 6 months from the morning of my birthday, how kick ass is that?

Lots.

So, re-INK designs is going great too, we've registered, (took ages I know), we have an office in Newcastle city centre, the website is up (clickety click), which was hastily done for Dan's degree, so changes are occuring to that.

More info will be passed on through such a glorious blogging vessel.

I am so weird.
I guess I'm enjoying my life huh, yay!

My girl is lying on me as I type, and we are so sleepy, so this is goodnight and adios.
Peace out, mmmmmmmmm.
